You say the problem is your kitchen drain, so the following things come to mind...

You have a garbage disposal, and so you put a lot of food waste down it...

The disposal could be fairly old, and doesn't do the best job of chopping up the food before it lets it go down the drain...

There are some habits you could look at to change, and I'm taking shots in the dark here because we can't do a dialogue where I can ask questions...

How much grease do you put down your drain?
Do you do a lot of potato peels?
Banana?
Other fiberous vegitables?

How much water do you run when you do put food waste down the drain? Remember that you have to have enough water to carry the waste out to the sewer, the way a toilet puts out a gallon or so of water when it flushes.

One way to encourage the food to exit the line is to send a surge of water down the line, enough so the water can carry the waste effectively.

As you are doing your dishes, fill a pot with water, then dump the whole thing down at once...

Run your disposal, but don't feed it so fast... Kind of like chewing thouroughly and swallowing before you take another bite...

Those are just some ideas. If these don't work, try posting back and see what other info you can get. If the clog is in fact grease, filling that pot with REALLY HOT water might do the trick too.

Good luck!
