get some nice flat pieces of cardboard. Get an Exacto Knife and make a template of the cardboard and then once good and tight, transfer that to the actual plank.

You can also do some intricate measurements and get a good long armed compass and then determine your angle and then measure it out.

There are a ton of ways to do this, but over the Internet, the best way is to make a good template.
