troubleshooting leaks

I would troubleshoot this with the garden hose. Wait for natural leaking to stop. Send helper into the leaking room and begin to wet areas with the hose. Start with testing the gutters and downspouts. You would be suprised how many leaks begin there. Then move to the next suspect area. Work in one area at a time for reliable troubleshooting. Eventually, you will find that you squirt the hose in one area and water comes into the pantry or mudroom. If you cannot recreate the problem, then the leaking might be lower underground passage.
