I've laminated quite a few countertops, using routers and/or laminate trimmers.I've owned a couple different models of rotozip and neither had the accuracy or control necessary for trimming countertops. Maybe other, more expensive models can, I don't know. With mine the problem was that the base was not rigid enough or large enough to keep the cutter true to the work.
