tree trunk pieces - what to do about them

Hi Henry

Thanks once again for your feedback. I guess I'm left kind of disappointed, since I don't know anyone with a kiln, and you're saying the other method of spraying isn't gonna work. I hate to throw these logs away (especially those solid, healthy ones); I don't have a place to keep them right now, and my friend wants them out of his backyard soon! (I'm hoping to build a home this summer but don't have a workshop or any room where i'm staying now). I had also wanted for quite some time to try making some wood sculptures - abstract pieces perhaps - with my interest in arts. But maybe i'll have to let go of these logs for now, and find other ones in the future...what a waste. I'm in Chatham, which is between Windsor/Detroit and Sarnia/Port Huron.

Thanks again for all your time and help; any other ideas - let me know.
