Similar to others that have posted. I bought an adjustable Torque Wrench in the early 1980's. I thought ALL CRAFTSMAN TOOLS were Lifetime Warranty. Seems that is a phrase used on the TV and in advertisements in the store. I used the tool carefully and infrequently. Recently the lock mechanism failed and some of the internals became loose. When returning I was told that the Torque Wrenchs were always 90 day warranty.

I will NOT go back to Sears for tools.
