Toilets and Tile

Posted by Mike Chambers on September 12th, 2000 02:38 PM

When remodeling the bathroom, presently the toilet, bathtub, etc.. are out. I'm sure it depends on the type of tile you want to use, but what I want to know is it better to lay the tile first and then install the toilet or whatever? Or is it better to either cut around that area or install the item first then lay the tile around it? Just wondering if the tile is strong enough to hold or if not even plausible? Thanks for any help ahead of time and you may contact me privately if you wish.
