Hi, Larry. At best, and most probable, you will just have to put on a new wax ring. When you pull the toilet out, scrape off the old wax ring with a putty knife. If it looks like there was plenty of wax to make the seal, you might be OK just putting on a new ring when you reinstall. The real answer depends on the thickness of the underlayment and vinyl you will be installing and the space that you had before. You can get, cheaply, an extension ring for the pipe flange and the wax rings only cost around a buck. Buy two since the wax is great for putting on screw that go into hardwood. Makes driving them a lot easier and you don't break as many.
