toilet replaced, now wall and floor a mess

Posted by dsm on February 7th, 2000 05:48 AM

the former toilet tank was bolted to the wall, and the new tank is not as big, thus a cutout of drywall and new wallpaper need install. Can the toilet tank come off while I do that?
Also need to fill in the sheet tile at the floor where the new bowl sits.
Finally, the toilet seems to clog much more than it should. The installer left me a closet auger!
Any keen insights?
