To Install Basement Subfloor or Not to..

Posted by Stephen Deutsch on November 1st, 2000 11:52 AM

So I am working on a plan for finishing up our basement. It was framed, insulated and vapor barriered (I assume that's what the plastic tarp over the framing does) by the builder. Now I am trying to figure out if the cost of putting in a sublooor wis worth the benefit. I have already determined there is not any moisture problem. Any opinions?

PS I want to put in a laminate wood floor, like Mannington or Armstrong, of good quality. Thanks!
