Tin Ceiling

Posted by Boyd Dugan on July 14th, 1999 02:26 PM

I have recently purchased an old turn of the century tavern, that I plan to turn into a soda fountain. It has a beautiful tin ceiling, but many tiles are damaged from rust from a leaky roof, or from holes poked by firemen about 20 years ago (there was a minor fire on the upper level once.) Two main questions:
Is anyone aware of anyone who can duplicate tin tiles?, OR where there is a very extensive selection availabe. I have found new replacements available, but not an exact match yet. Next question is: Is there a product to use to fill wholes or to strengthen the tin tiles that have rotted (If I find no replacements)like plasitc wood does for rotted wood?
