Tim, did you mean to say in back of Tank?

if it is indeed the tank that the water is leaking out of...then your float is not shutting off the water supply that refills the tank. you need to replace the fill valve/float assembly or rebuild it with new rubber gaskets. by shutting off the water supply water first then draining the tank ..and making the repair. LJ
