Tiling a 45 degree angle on a corner countertop

Is there a way to cut a tile, then "repair" the cut edge to be used in an exposed (visible) area?
I have two 45 degree angles on the front of my counter top I have to cover. Which means I have to cut tile to fit. As the cuts will be seen, I was looking for a way to "hide" the cut as much as possible. Or is there some other trick to doing this?
Thanks
jeff
