Tile query

Bill, your idea on the walls & at the vanity base is a standard method of handling things; the vanity base can also just be caulked if the tile fits nicely to the base.

The same is true at the tub; normally the tile is scribe-fit to the tub, and then the joint is caulked. This will make for the best appearance, but if the tile does not fit close enough for this, the quarter round would not be out of place.
