you can use a spray can as close as possible to your final color as a first coat on the strip that you can't reach, making the transition less noticable.
or you can get a Crown spra-tool to hit it with your actual finish paint.
or, there is a sash painting tool, a paint pad designed to reach into narrow clearances as small as 1/4".
