Bob, I only have a table saw so since I "haven't played the game" my vote may not count. But I can live without the radial arm and would have a hard time without the table saw. I cut a lot of plywood and other sheet goods and if I was doing a wood floor, etc., would get a miter or compound miter saw, which are a lot cheaper than the radial arm. About the only thing that I can think of that I cannot do just as well on the table saw is cutting tenons on large pieces of wood. You can do picture frames on a table saw with the right jigs. My next door neighbor built some peg board shadow boxes with his radial arm and almost managed to get them square.
