tie in new toilet to old pipe

Posted by bradley Saint John on July 18th, 2002 08:56 AM

Working on a 100yr house were as the plumbing was added some time after the house was built, so the drain pipe and vents are attached to the exterior of the house. The previos owner to me has a 3 peice bathroom in the master bedroom, second level, partialy plumbed. The new toilet drain in the floor, exits through the exterior wall, and is not tied into any thing. My thought is that they planed to tie it into the cast drain/vent pipe. will this work?... at the second level hieght or say run the drian down parallel and then tie in closer to the ground???
also sink and tub drains... what to do, what to do?
Thank you
