Knowing next to nothing about these foundations, I would assume that "it depends". I would ask the contractor for a list of houses that he has built that are in the area, that didn't use post tension foundations that you could call and ask for reference. If the houses he built 5 or 10 years ago don't have cracked foundations then it is probably ok. Maybe his foundation contractor could supply references. If EVERY SINGLE other house in the area has post tension then I might think twice.
