I have been using Porter Cable for years and love it.
I use a 12.2 and it is sufficent. I tried a larger volt drill and it consisitently twisted off heads. I decided that 12.2 was just right.
I also understand that the chuck clutch or adjustment apparatus can be adjusted for torque, but I always leave it on the highest setting. Its too much trouble to constantly be changing that setting.
Standard dry wall screws will not tolerate too much torque as they will pop heads. Consider this.
Also, I have heard from many users about Porter that the batteries are the best on the market.
