but, you need to know about determining "square", use of a hammer and wood chisel, use of a groove nail gun for securing the wood to the sub flooring, how to cut around obstacles in the way of the flooring, and strong knees.

You will definately need additional assistance.

If you are determined, I would experiment in a closet or an out of the way area that you can gain experience and confidence. Its not really all that difficult, and not easy to correct a mistake, but there are certain rules that you need to keep always in mind.

I would read books, seek professional advice, and practice.
