the most important part is the prep. You have to completely de grease the paintable surfaces first. This can be done with a good cleaner.
Then tape off the areas that ;you do not want paint on.
Then get the spray appliance paint. Sold in home centers.
The thing to watch out for is runs. Practice first with a piece of cardboard and find the correct distance and the correct overlap for painting.
This should work for you. Allow a good day or more for drying. Then apply a second coat.
