the right kind of gloves?

Posted by Jules on June 4th, 2001 02:37 AM

OK - maybe this seems like a silly question, but...

what kind of gloves should I be wearing while washing my hardwood floors down with mineral spirits??

I had been told that rubber should be fine, but nope - those got eaten through. Latex isn't an option - I have a slight contact allergy to latex - and I suspect it wouldn't survive either!

So, what should I use? Nitrile? Neoprene? something non-synthetic?

I have psoriasis on my hands (part and parcel of having severe psoriatic arthritis), and my hands are still complaining about the bit of exposure they got! I've gotta get this finished soon!

Thanks again in advance!
