A word of caution about staining your windows -- the translucent paint seldom spreads evenly, so it will appear blotchy and really tacky. Think about using real stained glass. It'll look so much better. You can either buy or make one to fit over your current window, and if you ever move, you can just pop it out and take it along! A flat panel is easy to make and stained glass is a fun craft to learn. Why not give it a try?
