bottom of the door acting as a pivot that is attached to the floor very near the door's jamb is adjustable. To raise the door off the carpet, you need to screw the pivot bolt out to entend the bolt and inturn will raise the door on that side.
If you have an assistant, that person could lift the door up staying in the track, but high enough to pass over the carpet, then you screw OUT the pivot bolt to this height.
Then do the same thing on the other side.
Now, if you have a problem, I would call out the workmen that removed the doors and aprise them of the problem and if they are reputable and responsible, they will come out to assist you at no charge. I do know that I would.
