The outside light has no switch ?

Hmmmmm ....some more information.....

Maybe the light is on a photocell......and the original "electrician" wired the rest of the circuit from the "switched" side of the photocell.......

The FIX: Take the light down and rewire the continuing circuit to the HOT side of the Photocell.......
