How could I forget!
pi R squared
pi= 3.141592R = the radis of the circle (half the width)
Hence, 3.141592 X 3" = 9.424776
squared = 18.849552
X 12 = 226.19 square inches of area at the exhaust.
You have 192 square inches of area at the supply.
If I have done this right, I do not see how you can get any force in this situation without dampers to cut back the exhaust to supply ratio.
If I am wrong, (I did go to public schools), I'm sure the whole world will let me know.
