I have to say...either the homeowners are not installing these windows correctly or people are not being realistic. These are DISCOUNT WINDOWS!! You are not buying Marvin Integrity or pella Replacement or even CertainTeed. These are what they are. If you take a window off the shelf at HD you are buying an 8500 series $120-$150 double hung dowble pane LOw E glass window. No Argon gas, no foam EXTRAS. These windows install very easily and will last about 20 years. You get a new window, new screen and tilt out feature. If the window was damaged when you got it...WHY DID YOU INSTALL IT. I have had some that were damaged and I returned them. Leave the installing to the pros and if you want a high performance product, buy a high performance product.
