Thanks Rod, another question

Thanks for the reply. At this point, my wife and I are
at our wit's end, and want to finish this (*&%$ floor
once and for all, and are tempted to go with overkill.
I want to use the best cement or compound possible, put
in a good aggregate (pea gravel maybe?) put in a heavy
wire mesh for reinforcement and screw it into the existing
concrete floor and...anything else I can think of.

My question is this:
a) is there a better type of concrete I could be using
than Level Quick for strength and ability to adhere to existing concrete?
b)if I pour in thin layers as you suggested, how much time should I allow
between layers (the bag suggests a couple of hours - which
I did in the last pour (although I was still going deeper
every layer than you recommended). Longer?
