Thanks! Rather than Sanding, Would Citristrip Work?

Thanks for the help. By the way, the furniture is in good working condition, and will be used in a guest bedroom. It's just taht black is such a bad collor for a small room. Anyway, I was just told about "Citristrip" and it sure looks easy. Can I get adequate results by using that to burn off the old paint and then brushing or spraying on a coat of lighter color paint?
