It took me awhile to visualize the sprocket idea, which would work but I doubt that my S/O will let me get away with it.
She hates it when I go to jury-rigging things, and I wind up having to undo everything. Besides she has no problem with
the existing height of the doors (she's only 5' tall). Maybe I'll just start wearing a hardhat whenever I venture into
the garage, which is also my workshop so you see why I hit my head so often. What I think I need to do is come up with
some type of spring mechanism to pull the door back when the transom hits the top position.
P.S. I've already filed the 2x4 idea. ;-)
