In reply to What kind of light switches do I have? by Randy Weaver on December 12th, 2000 12:32 AM [Go to top of thread]

The wires in the wall are about the thickness of thermostat wire. A test of the current found about 24v, DC. Each switch has 3 wires; a red, a black, and a white. It appears that the switches have the name, “Bryant”, on them.

My wife also has noticed a slight “clicking” sound behind some covered electrical panels next to a breaker panel in our basement. This clicking seems to correspond to when a light switch is either pressed to ON or OFF.

I would love to read up on it if I can find any literature. Thanks for all your help!
