great advice you two guys, I learned a lot from your posts Jack & Jay. I wish all home inspectors were as honest and thorough as you, Jack.
Something else to remember: Make sure the major appliances are checked for safe operation, eg, gas water heater and furnace flue ventilation. I read a scary article lately in P&M Mag about how improperly adjusted burners or blocked flues, are making sick or killing a startling number of folk every year.
Last year, out of 12,000 folk who reported severe flue symptoms, 2,000 of them were found to be suffering from carbom monoxide poisoning!!! My former wife was one of them.
Please get CO detectors in your home.
Best regards to all, Brian in swampland.
