Well, I do thank you for something. A reply. But, if you'll note in my original message, I said we were going to do this. Now if you have any instructions you would like to share as far as how-to, please let me know.

What you are not realizing is the look of the fireplace now. It is very unattractive and was when it was built. The brick is not a nice looking brick. We are changing it and obviously we are going to do the most inexpensive thing. If that doesn't work we will take the next step. De-value the house? Please! Unless you plan to submit documentation on the subject I'd stay away from that one.
