Thanks for the suggestions - I appreciate them.
Jennifer, I was going to try to stay away from sleepers to achieve maximum headroom on the finished side (starting with just under 7' as it is). I did see a new product in TOH magazine which is comprised of 2'x2' T&G OSB panels with "feet" (bumps) made of a rubber or plastic compound that is water proof. They are only 7/8" thick, but are $6.00 each.

I currently have no system in place for the finished side - I guess I have just been lucky not to have any water there. I am hoping that by installing the sump pump on the unfinished side, I will be even more lucky!
