I am trying to repair a ceiling but I don't know how they achieved this particular texture. It's not a "popcorn" texture and I don't think it was sprayed on. It looks like it might have been done by taking a paint roller and pressing it to the ceiling while the mud was still wet, and then flattening it. However, I've tried this and it doesn't come out the same. Do you know of any resources I could contact to help with this? I have a piece of the ceiling, but the people at the home improvement stores I've been to don't seem to know how it was done. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
