Textured Ceiling + Glitter - How to

Sara.....your texture has what is called "Glitter" on it. You can still buy glitter - The Home Depot sells it - along with a bottle to blow it onto the ceiling.

You might want to see if a tool rental or drywall supply place has what is called a "Glitter Gun" - it applies the glitter more evenly - but back in the day they cost about $100 - so it isn't worth buying. If you can't find a glitter gun - the bottle at The Home Depot will work.

Apply latex ceiling paint to your ceiling - and while it is still wet - have a helper blow the glitter on the wet paint - it will stick - and you will have glitter!

You can apply the paint with a slit foam roller - and be careful with the glitter - getting it even can be tricky.
