Termite and Wood Rot Repair

Posted by Derek on March 18th, 2000 03:42 PM

I recently bought a 60 year old house. In the process of ripping up 2 layers on lynoleum flooring in the Kitchen, I discovered an original hardwood floor & subfloor that were so destroyed in parts I can see through to the crawl space below. Is it advisable to rip it all out and replace it? or would just screwing concrete board over top suffice without complicating the matter?

thanks for any suggestions
