Indoor or outdoor?

Water stains can be difficult to remove without bleaching. Whatnot can be even more difficult.

Teak contains oils that do two things to various finishes:
* Prevent it from adhering (peeling & flaking)
* Prevent the finish from curing

Clear finishes on outdoor furniture present a whole additional set of problems.

So, if you were planning to sand off the old finish, slap on some stain and poly, you will likely be disappointed.
