Gee, Aaron, if Floyd kept going like it was headed, you would not have had to worry about it. Floyd might have taken the whole thing off and then you could have just replaced the roof.
But thanks for letting us know where you were located. We miss out on things like hurricanes in Michigan (but then we do have real winters), so many of us do not know how to handle things for specific areas with different problems.
I agree with Charles, contact the inspector who wrote the report, his company, your local building inspector or a good roofing inspector in your area. Good luck with Floyd. Hope you and yours stay safe and dry. Henry in MI
