I am a tankless user and retailer. There are pro's and con's in the use of a tankless water heater. if you need a lot of hot water at one time i would recommend a tank type. if you have a large family that take a lot of showers and can stage it out to 2 showers at a time or a maxium of 5 gallons per minute I would recommend a tankless water heater. If you have a large garden tub that needs filled i would recommend a tankless. 70% of the world use tankless water heaters to save on their utility bills and the need of endless hot water. If you traved to Europe and built a new home and asked for a tank type water heater they would laugh at you. This is only my opinion on water heaters I've owned both types and will never go back to a tank type again, my family loves it and the savings per month will pay for it in about 2 years. Again thankyou for letting me express my feelings on this web site.
