table saw

Posted by michele on January 17th, 1998 05:35 PM

Was just given an old craftsman table saw.I was told it's 1920's, 1930's era
the motor is seperate from the saw and ran by a belt, the pully on the saft comming out of the bottom of
the saw won't stay on ive replaced the Allen set screw, but it has wiggled off still.
Any other suggestion? When i can keep the pully on the saw works great. The saft does not have a key peice on it,
is it hard to replace the shaft if need be?Thanks for any help you can give me.Michele
