Yes, I did buy two switches because of the minimum dollar order requirements.
However, because this took years to resolve and I never want to go through this again, the second switch is going to be a spare just in case.
You can order the switch/switches as I did thanks to J. Harvey's previous recommendation. Together, if my memory serves me right, the bill for Eurton Electric was around $32 for both switches including the shipping & handling.

pick "parts", then pick "switches", then pick "Power Tool Triggers Variable Speed".
You will then see a picture of the switches I bought in the middle of the page.
