We also have a swinging door between the kitchen & dining room. It opens to a ninety degree position on both sides of the door and springs back to the center. It pivots around brackets located on the top molding and the floor both adjacent to side molding. The door is approximately sixty years old. The operating guts (enclosed) is located above the bottom bracket. We have to remove door temporarily to install floor tile. We need instructions for removing door. Do we start with the operating guts above bottom bracket. Thank you for your time.
