Unless they have made major improvements in that product in the last 8 years - caveat emptor. I had a white Swanstone sink and it was horrible to maintain. Anything and everything discolored it. The discoloration/stains always came out with a lot of scrubbing - not normal cleaning - but it had to be scrubbed at least 3 times a day. I can't even imagine a countertop made of that stuff.
If you love to clean - go for it.

This opinion is based on a product purchased in 1992. So if major improvements have been made in the product this is my offical disclaimer.
