We have a small fish pond and we want to put a suspension bridge over it. The span is aout 15 ft. The bridge would be 2 ft wide with a wood walking surface and wire rope for support and hand rail. We can not find any books to tell us the process to determine the wire rope size and the size of the anchors to hold the wire rope. I found an article on the Golden Gate bridge but nothing smaller. So far I am lead to believe it is nearly an act on God to do this. Why, when the third world countries do this fairly often.
