Suspended Ceilings / CeilingMax

Posted by David Wallace on January 10th, 2000 02:35 PM

I am pondering replacing my current basement ceiling
(a 1' x 1' tongue and grove panels) with either a traditional
suspended ceiling grid, or a new product CeilingMax. The
traditional method (metal) seems more sturdy than the plastic
that CeilingMax uses. If anyone knows or has even used the
CeilingMax system, please let me know how you liked or disliked it.
The idea behind CeilingMax (saving up to 6" in height of room)
really appeals to me, but I'm just a little concerned with the
quality of the product.
