Hunter ceiling fan:
The small extension that holds the pull chain about 1/4 inch away from the housing just broke off.
My husband thought the piece would screw back on, but no. The outside of the piece is metal, but there is has nothing but some sort of plastic or rubber on the inside. There is no way to connect it back onto the housing. Now the pull chain, because it isn't supported, hangs down directly against the housing. It won't work this way.
Is there a replacement piece for this? Or do I have to get a new fan.
I don't even know what model number this fan is.
Don't know where the paperwork is. The fan is 4 years old. Is the model number on the fan somewhere?
All I know is that it is a Hunter fan.
