I have a sump pump I'm considering replacing. When it ejects water (every minute or two) is makes a VERY loud bang that you can hear all through-out the house (3000 sq ft). Can you recommend a way to fix this? The house is 1 year old and has been this way since we've moved in, the builders have checked the sump pump/ejector and they say it's fine and I should just get used to the noise. (Hartz Cunstruction are the builders and they're not honest)....But it's a very loud bang and not something I want to get used to, it's so loud sometimes it wakes up our baby. I read about the ball check valve. How would I replace this?
