I have a concrete slab that needs to be come level to match an existing wood frame&plywood subfloor (to be tiled). The slab runs away from the entry door from level to the floor joists to about 3/4" below level. Once it is leveled off i plan on putting a new piece of 3/4 plywood that will span the transition of wood joist subfloor to slab. Should I use a floor levelor or should I rip 3-4 studs and make "mini-joists" to set the plywood on?
