subfloor and underlayment

Posted by joel on February 26th, 2003 04:46 PM

I have an osb sub floor. I want to put in stone tile, what should I use as an underlayment? I also want the stone to be flush with my hardwood, so that allows about 3/4" between sub floor and tile surface. My tiles are 3/8". I was thinking maybe 1/4" plywood on top of the osb then 1/4" wonder board on top of that. Would this work? If so, what products would I need between each layer?
